2024-25 Panini Obsidian Soccer

Panini Obsidian returns for its sixth season with the same premium, jet-black aesthetic that has made it a favourite among high-end collectors. Built on dark opti-chrome stock with chrome accents and Electric Etch die-cut technology, the 2024-25 release is a low-print, hit-heavy product where nearly every card in the box is an autograph, memorabilia card or numbered parallel.

Base Set

The base set features 107 cards, each serially numbered to just /145. The design leans fully into Obsidian's signature look — black backgrounds, chrome finishing and a distinctly premium feel. The checklist was trimmed sharply from the prior year, keeping the set tight and focused on marquee names.

Box Formats

Obsidian is a Hobby-only product. Each Hobby box contains a single seven-card pack, and cases are packed 12 boxes per case.

Every base and insert card runs through a lengthy Electric Etch colour ladder, joined by the popular Flood variations. The numbered rainbow includes:

The signature line-up includes Galaxy Ink, Lightning Strike, Magmatic Signatures, Volcanic Material Signatures, Matrix Material Autographs, Dual Jersey Ink and the throwback USWNT Class of '99 and Class of '19 sets.
