2025-26 Topps Match Attax EXTRA UEFA Champions League

Match Attax EXTRA is the mid-season expansion to the flagship Topps Match Attax UEFA Champions League trading-card game. Released once the knockout rounds begin, it refreshes the collection with updated squads, January transfers and a fresh wave of subsets and chase cards — a companion release built to sit alongside the main 2025/26 set rather than replace it.

The Set

The 2025/26 EXTRA collection runs to well over 386 cards. The base build is organised around several team- and theme-based runs, including Squad Update, Manager and Away Kit cards, plus a substantial UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL) section that expands the women’s game.

On top of the standard cards sit themed base-style subsets: Wingman (wide players), Pitch Perfection, Kings of Europe and Hat-Trick Hero, alongside the nostalgia-driven Topps Heritage — Man of the Match and Topps Heritage — Woman of the Match cards.

Card Types & Rarities

Base cards form the core of the set and are the most common pulls, covering squads across the competition.

100 Club cards celebrate players whose combined attack and defence rating reaches 100, presented in the iconic gold design. EXTRA carries a standard 100 Club run, a UWCL 100 Club run and a scarcer 100 Club Legend tier.

Foil and shine tiers climb in rarity through Black Edge Edition, Infinity, the Build-A-Baller puzzle chase finished with the Ultimate Baller, and lenticular 3D X-Lens cards.

Chase Cards

Limited Edition foils are the headline pull-and-trade chase, spread across themed designs such as Stadium Lights, ElectriX, Untouchable, Blitz Ballerz, Goaliaths, Psykicks, Platinum Pull, Gold Rush Ultra, X Greats and Black Fire.

Chrome X is the premium parallel programme, running from Refractor (#/499) down through Pink (#/299), Blue (#/150), Green (#/99), Purple (#/75), Gold (#/50), Orange (#/25), Black (#/10) and Red (#/5) to the one-of-a-kind SuperFractor 1/1.

At the very top sit the Royal Elite Limited Edition (roughly 1:500 packets, with a #/23 parallel), genuine on-card autographs, and memorabilia hits including Player-Worn Jersey Relics and UCL Decades Relics. The rarest of all are the Pro-View Original 1/1 cards.

Formats

EXTRA is sold in paper trade packs of 12 cards with guaranteed inserts, plus larger multipacks and eco-packs that add exclusive Limited Edition cards.

A Starter Pack bundles a collector binder/album with opening packs and a set of Limited Editions to begin the collection. Mini Tins and Mega Tins carry tin-exclusive Limited Editions on themed designs, and Mega Tins are the primary home of the relic chase, giving a shot at a Player-Worn Jersey Relic.

Key Names to Chase

As an official UEFA Champions League release, EXTRA leans on Europe’s biggest names. Collectors chase autographs, Chrome X and Limited Editions of stars such as Kylian Mbappé, Erling Haaland, Vinícius Júnior, Jude Bellingham, Lamine Yamal and Mohamed Salah, with UWCL cards adding leading names from the women’s game.
