The 2026 Panini Adrenalyn XL FIFA World Cup is the official trading-card game for football’s biggest tournament — a pack-and-collect game built around swappable player cards, in-packet rarities and a chase for foil and numbered hits. It is a collectable card game, not a hobby-box product, so the appeal is ripping packets, completing the national squads and pulling the scarce Limited Edition tiers. The Set

The standard collection holds 630 cards, split into 417 base cards and 213 special cards, covering 42 already-qualified national teams.

Each team is represented by nine Heroes (378 base cards in total) alongside a Fan Favourite, an Icon and a Team Crest. The base section is completed by 36 Contenders from the play-off nations and three Official Mascots. A later Final Teams Set (80 cards) fills in the remaining places to complete the full 48-team World Cup field.

• Limited Edition tiers — the chase layer, inserted randomly and sitting outside the 630-card base run: Standard Limited Edition, Panini Holo Limited Edition, XXL Limited Edition, Premium Limited Edition (premium blisters), Premium Gold Limited Edition (premium gold packs), the premium Top Master parallel, and the top-end Platinum Limited Edition.

Chase Cards

The rarest pulls are the high Limited Edition tiers and the on-card autographs.

The Platinum Limited Edition cards run in five numbered parallels: Orange /100, Green /50, Purple /35, Gold /10 and a one-of-one Black (1/1). Above the standard chase sit the Premium Gold Limited Edition (six cards) and the scarce Golden Ballers and Eternos 22 foils.

The ultimate hits are the on-card autographs — signed FIFA World Cup Master cards, with around 1,000 signed copies produced worldwide and pulled only from the premium Dream Box at roughly one per 100 boxes. Spot the top tiers by their heavy foil finish, the printed “Limited Edition” wording, and the serial number on the back of numbered cards.
